When using WordPad or PageMaker, is there a keystroke that gets you to File, Edit, View, Insert, Format, etc..

If you see a character underline on a menu, it indicates that when the menu's parent window has focus, you can press alt + the character to get the menu. For most applications, alt+F opens the file menu, alt+E opens edit, alt+V opens view, etc.... Similar shortcuts exist for submenus when they are open too.
