Why did Sally sell seashells on the seashore when you can just pick them up anyway?

Sally thought that by selling seashells by the seashore would hold a convenience factor because it would save people from having to bend over or kneel. Sally had this business in America. Initially her business did well, as people thought that this convenient alternative to exercising was well worth the cost of obtaining seashells. Unfortunately, this was the beginning of the obesity problem in America. As the big craze began with losing weight (i.e. Weight Watchers, Pilates, etc.), her business began to die out. Eventually, Sally started to realize that the demand for seashells wasn't what it used to be. The trickle down effect started to occur, with first her business, and then her seashell store (hut), foreclosure came, and all of her inventory was snuffed and sold at auction. I did hear now, however, she is selling coffee beans outside of a Starbucks in Washington state.
