If my ankle is swollen and I'm on blood thinners do i need to see my doctor?

ok i am on blood thinners for clots in my lungs and a couple hours ago i tripped and twisted my ankle now it's pretty swollen..i know my doctors told me not to fall but how am i supposed to make sure of that!? there's no way, accident happen.. but my question is. do i need to see my doc for a twisted ankle? normally i wouldn't even care but since i am on blood thinners I'm kinda concerned. please don't be a smart a*s!!!
