Has anyone's ever experienced seizures with their dog? what about cures other than phenobarb and diazepam?

There is no 'cure' but there are treatments for seizure activity. Besides phenobarb (diazepam is usually an acute med and not something that you would keep them on like the phenobarb) there is potium bromide and several other anti-convulsant meds but these two are the most common used with dogs. Your VET should be able to help you decide what is best for the dog to prevent seizure activity and potential death. If you don't trust your vet, find another.
