How hot can I have my bath water?

hey I have a question abut bathes. if you are pregnat does it matter how hot you have your bath? I ask because I love my bathes really hot I am ea almost scalding almost. ( I tend to think the hot waters kills of any nasty thing I may have on me ) i am wondering this my mom said it didn't matter but I thought I would get another opinon
