Emmanuel Chabrier-What do you know/think of the composer?

Certainly menbers of "Les Six" greatly appreciated the influence he had on the develpment of French Music. It is interesting to note how often other French composers such as Satie and Debussy quote Chabrier, particularly in their piano works, presumably as a tribute to him.
