what song would you choose as an anthem for such an event? i've been listening to songs with social messages/commentaries, from the 60's to the present for weeks now. to me many of the older songs seem just as relevant now, as they did then. right now gladys knight, curtis mayfield, stevie wonder, marvin gaye, bob dylan and loggins and messina are taking me back down memory lane. the other day it was alicia keys, lupe fiasco, kanye west, erykah badu and common. what are you listening to?
